The Chittenden County Bar Association (CCBA) is a Vermont non-profit member association comprised of attorneys that practice law in Chittenden County, Vermont. At its core, the CCBA is a member networking and support organization; but, it’s also so much more.
Throughout the year, the CCBA holds, sponsors, or otherwise facilitates Brown Bag Bench Bar meetings with judges, bar members, and other county stakeholders. These Bench Bars generally provide for CLE credit. In addition, the CCBA sponsors in-county mixers throughout the greater Burlington area that allow new attorneys to meet their more experienced colleagues, as well as speak with judges in a less formal setting. Moreover, the CCBA holds two “formal” parties each year: (1) The Annual Meeting/Ethics Bowl in or around June; and, (2) the Holiday Party, generally scheduled in downtown Burlington within the first two weeks of December.
Annual Dues are only $30 per year per attorney. Notably, in addition to costs associated with procuring locations and vendors for food for the Annual Meeting and Holiday Party, the annual dues pay for the mixers, CCBA-wide resources as necessary, and the construction and maintenance of the website.
